Summer has arrived!
Baby Belle and I are very happy that our first summer together seems to have finally arrived. It has been six wonderful months since I adopted Belle from the Dogs Trust Rehoming Centre at Shrewsbury and though we’ve had our ups and downs I have never been happier. Together we walk several miles every day, both on our own and with our four-legged clients and friends, and even though we don’t mind rain or cloudy days it’s always much more fun to walk in the sunshine. Over the past six months we have visited lots of places but none have been more beautiful and peaceful than the National Trust’s Dudmaston Estate near Bridgnorth in our home county of Shropshire. It’s one of our favourite places to go and we try to make regular trips there to walk along the River Severn from Hampton Loade and up into the Dudmaston Estate and around the lakes. I took this photo at Dudmaston this week of Baby Belle admiring the dandelions and buttercups in the fields. I hope you’ll agree that she looks happy and content in her new life with me and I am definitely looking forward to our first summer together.
