Our favourite dog friendly pubs are included alongside each walk in our books and include details of where dogs are welcome inside - the restaurant or just the bar; if the pub has its own pub dog and whether there is dog friendly accommodation on site.
Our Dog Friendly Pubs e-Book
A Kindle book is available for the Best 50 Dog Friendly Pubs in the Midlands together with nearby walks. This includes dog friendly walks, pubs, and places in Shropshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire and the West Midlands.
Our Dog Friendly Pubs App
You can search thousands of dog friendly pubs around Britain on our brand new Best Dog Friendly Pub app, available on iphone and on all smartphone and android mobile phones - featuring a cartoon of Boomerang with a pint in his paw.
Search according to your current location by postcode, the name of the area or town you’re in or the name of a particular public house. Then you can find your nearest dog friendly pub quickly by looking for our handy green ‘Entry’ and red ‘No Entry’ signs and pins.
Each pub, from gourmet dining establishments to licensed cafes to CAMRA recommended traditional real ale hostelries, is listed with its dog friendly facilities - for example does it have dog friendly accommodation for an overnight stay?
You can search the app by typing in the key features you’re searching for in a dog friendly pub, be it dog bowls, dog treats and mutts’ menus.
And you can be part of the Best Dog Friendly Pubs app by listing your own choice of pubs and joining our team of Rover Reporters writing Pup Advisor reviews and adding their own rating.
Best Dog Friendly Pubs is a collaboration between inapub.co.uk and bestdogwalksuk.com - bringing you the best way to find, enjoy and spread the word about the best places to eat and drink with your dog.
*Pub of the Month* Award Winning, Cat Inn - South StaffsDon't let the name put you off - The Cat Inn at Enville is extremely dog friendly and you will find a variety of pooches in this CAMRA 2014 Pub of the Year winner. There are wonderful walks on the doorstep around the National Trust's Kinver Edge and the Enville Estate.
Three Pigeons Nesscliffe
The Old Three Pigeons is a wonderfully welcoming pub at the foot of the Nesscliffe Country Park in North Shropshire.
Dogs are allowed in the bar, the large garden and in the covered outdoor seating area so whatever the weather there will be space for you to sit and enjoy a sample of the local real ales offered here at the end of your walk.
The family-run pub also offers a very tasty food menu if you have built up an appetite on a longer walk exploring Nesscliffe and Tuesday nights are 'Gourmet Burger' night so if your humans are kind enough to drop scraps from the table then this is the night to visit!
Baby Belle and her friends all highly recommend this dog-friendly pub :o)
